Daniel Rozsar

Daniel Rozsar

Final Year SBM CDT Student

I'm originally from Esztergom, Hungary, and I obtained my BSc and MSc in Chemistry at the University of Szeged. I completed my BSc thesis at Avidin Ltd., in the field of Brønsted acidic organocatalysis, and my MSc at Servier on the application of multicomponent and cascade strategies towards heterocycles. As a part of my degree, I also undertook two summer schools on organic chemistry at The Arctic University of Norway. I joined the Dixon Group in 2019, where I focus my research on bifunctional organocatalysis. In my free time, I enjoy having a few pints with friends, reading (mostly non-chemistry related) literature, and playing the guitar.
