2nd Year DPhil Student

Hailing from Skipton (North Yorkshire), I gained my MChem from the University of East Anglia in 2018, working with Prof. Simon Ellingham on the total synthesis of staroplofin alkaloids. As part of my degree, I also undertook a year-long industrial placement with Technovia Pharmaceuticals, designing novel NMDA agonists. Having joined the Dixon group in 2022, my current work focuses on developing new synthetic methods. In my spare time, I enjoy writing fan-fiction, doing karate, and competitive pole-sports.
