2nd Year DPhil Student

I was born and raised in HeNan, China. I received my B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from WuHan University in 2019 under the guidance of Professor Jinping Zhou. My research focused on the natural polymers. Then I gained my M.E. from the University of Tokyo in 2021, working with Prof. Kyoko Nozaki on the heterogeneous catalysis. After 2021, I continued work in the Nozaki group as a researcher for heterogeneous catalysis about selective C–O bond cleavage by hydrogen and polymer degradation. Now I joined the Dixon group to pursue my DPhil degree in Organic Chemistry and research on asymmetric catalysis. Outside of Chemistry, I love Nintendo Switch games (Legends of Zelda), Japanese anime (Kamen rider and JoJo), guitar and investing.
