Rebecca Thielemann

Visiting Masters Student, University of Münster

Originally from Wuppertal (Germany), I completed my BSc in Chemistry at the University of Münster in 2022. My bachelor's thesis in the group of Prof. Frank Glorius was focused on the exploration of a novel dearomative photocycloaddition reaction. I continued my studies in Münster and have so far completed several short research projects in organic synthesis and catalysis in Münster in the groups of Prof. Ravoo, Prof. Glorius and Prof. Jens Müller and in South Korea in the group of Prof. Chang (KAIST, Daejeon). As part of my MSc, I am currently undertaking a 6-month research internship in the Dixon group. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, travelling, visiting museums, attending cultural events and watching movies.
