Timothy A. Davidson

3rd Year SBM CDT DPhil Student

I grew up in south-west London, then moved to Cambridge for my undergraduate studies. During my master's year, I worked under the supervision of Dr. Manuel Nappi and Prof. Matthew Gaunt, developing a metal-free strategy for the photochemical activation of alcohols. My research in the Dixon group focuses on the total synthesis of complex natural products, with an aim to apply novel methodology along the way. Outside the lab, I am an avid football fan and musician.
