Hi! I was born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. I graduated from the University of Madras in Inorganic Chemistry and subsequently was awarded PhD in Organic Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Rai Shung Liu at the National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. In 2013, I was awarded JSPS postdoctoral fellowship at Kyoto University, Japan under Prof. Hideki Yorimitsu in the field of Organosulfur Chemistry. After spending 5 months at KAIST (Republic of Korea) in 2016 under Prof. Sungwoo Hong in the field of C-H activation, I joined Prof. Darren J. Dixon group in the same year as a Marie-Curie postdoctoral fellow at University of Oxford and working on the Organocatalysis and new method development for the synthesis of natural products. Apart from my research, I like cooking and travelling.
